Noel Gallagher’s ex-missus Meg Mathews is heading down the aisle again! But this time I hear the interior designer is having that big white wedding she missed out on with Noel (they got hitched in Las Vegas, after all).

The lucky guy this time around is aspiring fashion designer Peter Sidell and owner of Brompton Cross fashion store The Library.

A source told me: “Meg’s thrilled. Peter proposed to her on a trip to New York earlier in the month. She wants to wait until Spring next year before they walk down the aisle. She really is on cloud nine.”

But just because the wedding’s a wee while away doesn’t mean Meg can’t start planning – she’s already rumoured to be bagging £250,000 from Hello! magazine for the rights, her daughter with Noel, Anais, 10, will be bridesmaid and guests will include her mates Sadie Frost and Kate Moss. Even Victoria Beckham will be invited after using Meg’s wallpapers in LA.

*Paris Hilton whispered in my ear over a cocktail in Raffles recently that Doug Reinhardt’s a long-term prospect. She said: “He’s the one. I mean babies, marriage, the works.” Good for her!

*Peaches Geldof has bagged her first film role. She told me at the 25th anniversary of Fisher Productions: “It’s an indie horror slasher movie, in the vein of Donnie Darko, rather than Jason X – and I can’t wait to start filming.” Well done.

*Martine McCutcheon thrilled publishers by, shock horror, penning her new novel The Mistress all by herself. Martine tells me: “They were so shocked I’d written it myself. It was a great experience.”

*Lady Victoria Hervey has just been in Cameroon filming a documentary for the Born Free Foundation, highlighting the illegal meat trade. She tells me: “It’s totally disgusting what goes on with gorilla meat – you can even buy bush meat in Brussels restaurants. It has to stop.” Hear, hear!

*Matt Willis has been busy beavering away on a brand-new band – his first group venture since Busted split. Matt tells me: “We’ve got the album ready to go. It’s just a matter of getting the deal now.” Good luck!

*EastEnder Charlie Brooks (Walford’s killer hooker Janine) had fun last week in classier surroundings. She was spotted celebrating her birthday at Hampton Court’s Cloud Nine bar.

Gentlemen, start your engines. I can reveal Sienna Miller is young, free and single again after calling time on her ill-fated relationship with oil heir and Brothers & Sisters actor Balthazar Getty.

A pal reveals: “Sienna loved being with Balthazar  but there was too much baggage and she couldn’t commit to anything more than a few months. They are still good friends.”

The pair began dating after they were introduced by Sienna’s Edge of Love co-star (and former beau) Matthew Rhys last May while Balthazar was nursing a new baby with then- wife Rosetta.

Sienna’s aides will be thrilled by the break with Balthazar. The relationship led to her being branded a home-wrecker and is rumoured to have put an end to her role as Maid Marian in the new Robin Hood movie. The source adds: “She has a real chance of hitting the big time again.”

But it’s not as if she needs that much help. The talented blonde is preparing for the release of GI Joe where she’s a leather-clad villain. Sienna tells me: “It’s going to be big for me. Then I’m off to Broadway, treading the boards.”

It certainly seems the place to be in Cannes is the Glaceau vitaminwater’s La Plage. Both Paris Hilton (and her man bag Doug Reinhardt from The Hills) and Peaches Geldof graced the Quintessentially bash with their presence last night and both looked rocking. I have to say I think Peaches truly killed it with her little look. Goth chic always works for that girl….

I caught up with the face of Ultimo lingerie last week and we were laughing about her appearance in a Pam Hogg figure hugging cat suit. She told me: “I was just pleased there wasn’t any camel’s hoof in the shots that were taken. Especially considering it made the front of one paper. Could you imagine.” I actually could – and it wouldn’t have been good!

One thing I do respect about Peaches is her own self-imposed booze ban. She’s not had a drop of alcohol for six months. She adds: “I don’t drink – I say I’m straight edged nowadays. People always think I’m tumbling out of clubs – but it’s just not the case.”

Also…..just to clear up reports that she’s going out with a new guy called Matt…..she’s not. She did actually set up Matt with another girl – despite pictures of her giving him a cheeky quick pash. Peaches is single – but going out on dates!

Oh, by the way – other stars at the vitaminwater bash included Hollywood heavy weights Ralph Fiennes, Harvey Weinstein and Kristin Scott Thomas.

I had the pleasure of talking to Debbie Harry at the Belvedere IX bash in Cannes this week. Here’s what the Blondie legend had to say!

Are you looking forward to performing at the Belvedere bash?
You know what it’s just going to be wild and fun! I think I had some requests for some of the material and threw in a song I recorded with Moby that I did. It was released but didn’t go very far. It wasn’t a big release – it was more a bit of fun. It’s called New York New York.

Do you still get a big buzz from live performing?
I love being on stage and it’s just great. I’m at the point in my career where people are there because they want to be.

Lady Gaga has been compared to a modern day Debbie Harry – what are your thoughts? And have you seen her live?
Lady Gaga is wonderful. I love all that. I went to see her show in New York and it was a confusion on my part. I was either two hours too soon, or two hours too late. I didn’t really want to wait around so I will have to catch her another time.

Would you like to perform with Lady Gaga?
I’d love to perform with Lady Gaga. She’s wonderful and having a great time. She’s bringing a lot to what she does. As a fellow New Yorker I appreciate her punkness. I appreciate her tribute to style, being outrageous and playing around.

How do you stay looking so youthful?
I just do what everybody does. I work out. Lately I’ve been working out a lot. I’ve been training consistently for about a year now. I do treadmills and everything. I’m pro everything you can do to feel better and make yourself look better. I have no qualms about surgery whatsoever.
I don’t want to look like I’ve had a load of surgery. I think I’m at the point where I can see the way things are heading as far as ageing goes. I’m trying to figure it out just so that I’m happy. You need to be content with how you are and how you look. And a very good surgeon helps. But they can only do so much and you start to look like this (pulling her face back). There’s a model called Carmen that I think has aged very gracefully. She’s aged beautifully. It has to do with health and outlook. I think I’m lucky in lots of ways. Some days I even like what I look like in the mirror!

You are apparently rapping on one of your new tracks – how was that?
I am rapping. Well, I’m trying. It’s sort of pathetic in a way but I love it and can’t help myself. I really like Ludacris. I like a lot of them. I haven’t heard anything from Missy Elliot for a while but I think she’s tops.

Is it true you are working on a brand new Blondie album?
We’re working on a new album – there’s new material and writing. Demoing things and hopefully within the next six months we’ll have something finished. We’re not at the point where we’re in the studio all together yet – it’s in the elementary stages. We’re composing and making tracks and stuff. It’s an on going process with me. I put on my solo album two years ago and then I’m straight back into another record. If you’re a Blondie fan then you’ll love it.

Jordan and Peter Andre have just announced they are splitting!

Dannii Minogue was thought to have been returning to the UK from Australia any day now to prepare for when X Factor starts filming on June 8th. But it seems there’s been a slight change of plan….

Despite having her X factor contract on the table from execs at the show…..she’s yet to sign it. She’s just not sure she wants to put up the rumour mill etc this time around. A source tells me: “Dannii had a tough ride last year. Cheryl Cole was brought in – which was a real kick in the teeth. She became the token ‘baddie’ of the show in the media despite there not being a problem behind the scenes. Dannii loves Cheryl but hates the fact she was made out to be the baddie by Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell. It felt like it was the world against Dannii last season – and Louis was particularly nasty throughout the series to Dannii.

“She doesn’t want that to happen again – and won’t put up with it. This time around she has a boyfriend too (Kris Smith) that she’s blissfully happy with and she’s not sure she wants to commit to so much work. It will mean she has far less time to spend with him.”

I really hope Dannii bites the bullet and comes back to the show – she’s a huge part of the singer’s development behind the scenes and knows miles more than Cheryl does about the industry from her 20 years experience as a star.

Sign it, Dannii! The show needs you, in my opinion!

Dannii told reporters on the red carpet at the Aussie LOGIE Awards that she was “still deciding” whether to sign up for the show. She said: “I need a holiday, then I’ll decide.”

So last night was exceedingly fun! I went down to Koi for dinner in the luxuruious Planet Hollywood hotel. They have done so well getting that restaurant into the complex – it truly is an amazing place to eat!

After dins I went with friends to Tao at The Venetian for a monster of a party. Rapper Jay-Z – who my sources said was paid $250,000 to ‘swing by’ for the evening – had the top table with pals including P Diddy and Russell Brand. Spice Girl Mel B sat on another table with hubby Stephen Belafonte too! It was truly spectacular!

But my time in Vegas has come to an end – I’m on route to LAX now to catch my connecting flight to London.
