Poor Sugababe Heidi Range! She’s not a fan of small spaces to begin with and she was freaked out big time yesterday when she managed to get stuck in a lift for three hours!
The girls were busy working on their 7th album in New York at Mark Ronson’s plush studio with producers Rock Nation when the cute blonde managed to get stuck on route to lay down her vocals!
A source reveals: “Heidi was just going up to the studio when the lift stalled and she became trapped. She managed to raise the alarm but there was nothing they could do to get the lift working. So she was completely stuck. In the end the girls’ manager Mark Hargreaves had to climb down the lift shaft and literally rescue the terrified Babe.”
It was always going to happen to Heidi, bless her!

Kate Moss is a naughty minx. She and pal Stella McCartney hit the La Clique circus-themed show at the Hippodrome in Leicester Square this week and things got a little out of control. My mole says: “Kate was completely out of it and kept lifting her dress.” And it didn’t stop there. In one scene a performer plays a kazoo using her intimate parts – and Kate fancied a toot. “She ran on stage laughing hysterically,” giggles my source, although in the end Kate didn’t actually have a go. Britain truly does have talent!

*Millionaire businessman John Hitchcox has clearly recovered from his relationship with Caprice. He had a brand new show pony – this time a brunette – at the Soho House Grey Goose Vodka bash in Cannes. Get him!
*Mica Paris releases her great James Morrison co-wrote single Baby Come Back this week. She tells me: “It was a pleasure to work with James.”
*Rising rap star Lazee has written Paris Hilton into the lyrics of one his tracks after being inspired by her dancing to his tunes in a club in Sweden.
*Bonkers star Dizzee Rascal has a unique take on Michael Jackson’s comeback. He told me at the 54th Ivor Novello Awards: “I don’t know how much he drinks and smokes but I’m glad he’s touring. I’m a big fan.”
*Ricky Gervais continues to fascinate Hollywood – he’s co-written Cemetery Junction with Extras partner Stephen Merchant. Ralph Fiennes and Emily Watson will star. At the Night At The Museum 2 premiere he told me: “Casting for this film was important. It’s going to be great.”

Dear Dean,
Greetings from Cannes! I see your first week has gone brilliantly, huge congratulations.
I’m just off to Costa Rica to film the US version of I’m a Celeb. But had to send you a note to say we missed you on Roberto Cavalli’s yacht – he even tried to give me a jewelled cushion! I got the chance to boogie on Roberto’s infamous dance floor and guess what -it’s tiled in leather.
Have had an amazing week interviewing Brad Pitt, Hilary Swank and Tarantino for CNN. Naturally they all send their love.
Love
Myleene xx

Naughty Prince Harry continues to spread the love. Well, now he’s single why not!
My spies spotted the tipsy ginger one swapping saliva with a “cute short blonde” on the Fulham Road last week and he didn’t care who saw them.
My mole says: “He was clearly enjoying a night out and had clearly had a skinful.”
Bless. Interestingly the Prince was out with rugby legend Will Carling and his rumoured former flame Natalie Pinkham and her boyfriend.
Continue being naughty, Harry!

I’ve some good news for Simon Cowell. After stalling for more than two months, Dannii Minogue is finally going to sign up to this year’s X Factor.
My pal Dannii has given Simon and co sleepless nights by refusing to commit to the new series, but after frantic 11th-hour negotiations I’m told she will sign on the dotted line this week. The 37-year-old star will fly to London with boyfriend Kris Smith next week ready to start filming on June 8.
A source close to Dan tells me: “After the end of the last series Dannii didn’t want to return. She was beaten down to a pulp being made the baddie of the show, thanks to Simon – and Louis Walsh was continually bullying her backstage. But she doesn’t want to turn her back on the show that she’s worked so hard on.
“Her friends have rallied round her to get her to sign again, and she’s ecstatic to be returning.”
But the negotiations have been tough – with Dannii laying down the law to producers saying this season will be done on her terms. The source adds that Simon was desperate not to lose her, saying: “The panel works with the current line-up, and after the Kelly Brook debacle on Britain’s Got Talent he didn’t want to risk any sort of failure.
“Simon’s given Dannii his word that he won’t fuel infighting rumours between her and Cheryl Cole and has said he won’t take any nonsense from Louis Walsh if he starts his usual snidey remarks backstage.”
Dannii has always denied there’s ever been a problem with Cheryl. I even spotted the pair last year have a heart-to- heart in Dannii’s dressing room after contestant Daniel Evans was thrown out by the public vote.
But it’s no surprise that she’s been keen to skip the show if you ask me – as she’s exploring other work avenues.
She wants to return to acting, is still recording solo music material with the Freemasons and is blissfully happy with her model boyfriend Kris. There’s even talk of an engagement in the near future. It’s good to have you back on X Factor, Missy!

Apologies for only just getting a moment to fill you in on my week of partying.
Wednesday was officially party night and I started my evening at Nobu for the obligatory lychee martini (fabulous).
First stop on the trail to see celebs was the exclusive Mulberry bash at the store on New Bond Street. The evening marked the launch of a new coffee table book called Romance which saw the store team up with the British fashion Council and Chris Craymer with proceeds going to the BFC Princess of Wales Charitable Trust.
I caught up with Lisa Butcher and model agent Jonathan Phang from Britain’s Next Top Model. Lisa’s looking on fine form of late if you ask me…..and sported a chic trilby.
Also there was Prince Harry’s supposed former squeeze Astrid Harbord. She’s a pal and assures me nothing has ever been going on between the pair – and I believe her, peeps!
Next stop on the list was South Kensington’s exclusive Chloe nightclub where the dancers from the Moulin Rouge were performing a one off gig! The garden there was packed full of people and fun was had by all. The restaurant upstairs, Firehouse, has played host to many a celebrity of late though. I hear just last week Frank Lampard and James Blunt became buddies over a beer. In the past I’ve seen everyone from Joan Collins and the Duchess of York to Demi and Ashton hanging out at Firehouse. It remains one of London’s well kept secret celeb hang outs.
From Chloe I ended up swinging over to the 50th Anniversary celebrations of Island Records. The drinks flowed freely all evening and I spotted all sorts of people including The Feeling, Juliette Lewis and Radio One DJ Nick Grimshaw. Later in the evening Mark Ronson hit the decks and the party was still going until near dawn!
I hung up my party clothes after that bash and got to bed. Little did I know Naomi Campbell had ventured into my favourite Chelsea club Raffles for an intimate Birthday bash! I wish there were five of me sometimes!

My last adventure in Cannes was an extra special party. I trotted along to the Soho House Grey Goose Vodka party at the incredible Chateau de La Napoule. It was a truly spectacular event and it was like being in a medieval castle of some sort! But obviously far trendier!
The stars were out in full force too – Quentin Tarantino seemed a little off and refused to have snaps taken of him inside, young emerging actor Sam Riley oozed of first degree hunk, Paula Patton went pretty much unnoticed as she kissed and cuddled a gentleman friend, Elizabeth Banks sparkled in beautiful jewels and Robin Wright-Penn made yet another appearance out on the town!
Robin really takes the award for party girl of Cannes as far as I’m concerned. She was heading out every single night with her gaggle of girls to protect her – after all she’s only just announced she’s divorcing Sean Penn!
The food at the Grey Goose bash was what really made it though. Suckling pig roasted on an open fire were carried through for peckish guests at 1am, live lobster and crab were cooked on the spot and the dessert area forced everybody who walked past to stop and shovel a profiterole into their mouths! Including me! Eeeek.
