Is there trouble in paradise for former S Clubber Rachel Stevens and her handsome fiancé Alex Bourne?

The couple are due to be married later this year but I hear they had a blazing row at Joe Allen restaurant in Covent Garden on Wednesday night.

My mole witnessed the row and tells me: “They were both very angry and things got very heated. Rachel was clearly upset. She got up and said, ‘That’s it’ and turned on her heel and marched out.
Alex left shortly afterwards.”

Hilariously Jerry Springer was on a nearby table. Sounds like an episode of his show! Fortunately a spokeswoman for Rach tells me the pair have smoothed things over now – they even sent their wedding invites out last week!

*Jenny Frost had choice words about the rumoured Atomic Kitten “reunion” at the Bruno premiere this week. Asked about re-forming she said: “I read about it in the paper – but I’d rather eat my own kidney with a spoon!”

*Who had the X Factor in Nice this week? I hear couples Dannii Minogue and Kris Smith and Cheryl Cole and hubby Ashley both enjoyed a break in the South of France separately. Just because you work together doesn’t mean you have to play together.

*Is there something Steve Jones isn’t telling us? I only ask because numerous sources tell me the T4 bike has been mouthing off that he’s leaving the Channel 4 show for “bigger ventures”. Get him!

*Dave Berry, Rick Edwards and the adorable Sarah Cawood turned out to watch a screening of Ghostbusters – which is 25 years old! To celebrate, the flick is now re-mastered on Blu-Ray and on sale now!

Congrats to Matt Willis and Emma Griffiths who welcomed their first daughter into the world on Saturday at 9.05pm.

I caught up with Ems last week over a curry and she was looking forward to the arrival big style. I was slightly bemused by Matt’s choice of name though. Emma told me: “He wants to call it Dude – whether it’s a boy or a girl.”

Fortunately Emma took charge and the baby is called Isabelle Catherine Willis. How refreshing to see a celebrity couple not naming their child after a fruit!

The patience of Sir Bob Geldof is set to be tested once more, as I can reveal his daughter Peaches is far more into her Scientology studies than anyone realised.

You have to wonder whether Bob will finally be pushed over the edge by her latest antics researching the mysterious faith. After all, he has remained tight-lipped over her past run-ins with cops, her rumoured drug overdose and her Las Vegas marriage to rocker Max Drummey.

And whereas the presenter-cum-budding fashion designer may have craved the limelight in the past, this time she’s keen to keep things schtum as she explores the religious philosophy.

But she’s been spotted leaving a Church of Scientology centre in LA.

My perfectly-placed source tells me: “Peaches became sober a year ago now. And shortly after she  started looking for fulfilment in life.

“She’d had a few crazy years learning to cope with fame and growing up and wanted to see whether she could gain anything in life from any faiths. So she went to a class and since then she’s spent a lot of time reading, attending classes in both New York and London and trying to understand Scientology a bit more.

“She’s not considering herself a Scientologist yet – but she’s enjoying learning about about a new faith.”

I’m not going to knock anybody that’s searching for fulfilment. Each to their own! She would be among some of Hollywood’s biggest stars if she did join the Scientology crew. The Cruises, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Juliette Lewis are all converts.

Anyway, I’ve managed to get to the bottom of this “lesbian” phase the star’s said to be going through.

But I’m reliably informed she is far from enjoying the lady-garden on a regular basis. She’s actually casually dating a guy in New York but has once again made sure things are kept on the down-low! “It’s not serious yet,” says my mole. “She’s just enjoying herself.”

And why not?

Bruno is the new Borat. Official. And from what I hear the film brings out the inner fairy in everyone – be warned!

Sacha Baron Cohen was a barrel of laughs on the red carpet for Bruno in Leicester Square this week. Asked whether he thought Sacha’s character Borat was gay he replied: “That guy is uber gay – I bet his wife gets as much sex as Katie Holmes.”

Outrageous!

James Corden (who’s a truly lovely guy, people) was a guest of Play.com for Take That’s Cardiff gig earlier this week. And from what I hear the big guy loved every minute. My source reveals: “He was ecstatic to be asked to go and even met the lads afterwards. He was made up to meet the band – he’s always been a secret fan.”

James also took along his gorgeous co-star Joanna Page. I can’t wait to catch Take That’s show next month! Bring it!

I was thrilled when top DJ David Guetta and Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child helped me celebrate my birthday at Ibiza super club Pacha last week.

I flew out to catch up with the pair as they performed their new dance track When Love Takes Over for thousands of fans on the White Isle. The tune reached the top of the iTunes charts just 24 hours after release and is all set for a No.1 this weekend (It’s out now peeps – so go buy it!).

Amazingly Kelly flew into Ibiza from Jamaica purely to perform When Love Takes Over – she stayed for a matter of hours before flying out of the party capital and back to Miami where she’s filming a new TV series. She revealed: “It was worth the long trip. When I started working with david on this track it was all about me pushing myself musically.

“It’s a new direction for me and I love the song. It’s uplifting and a real anthem. I definitely want to explore this style of music more in the future. The collaboration because I heard him playing in Cannes last year and the instrumental for When Love Takes Over came on and I fell in love with it. It was just an interlude then – and we went away and wrote the lyrics and track was born.

“I remember that night clearly – I was wearing very uncomfortable five inch heels and couldn’t stand up much but when I heard David play that I got up and there was no pain. I actually cried when I heard it finished first time.”

Charming Kelly also told me she was ecstatic to hear that old band mate Beyonce Knowles performed with George Michael recently. “Oh my God it sounded amazing,” she enthused. “That’s two incredible voices coming together. I wish I could have seen it. I’ve been a huge George Michael fan for years – he’s an icon. I’m sure Beyonce was so excited to be singing with him too.” Kelly also revealed she’s working on a brand new album that will hopefully drop early next year……

Meanwhile I spent some time with David Guetta at the fabulous beach side restaurant The Blue Marlin the day after his set and I found out exactly what he’s up to!

Hi David, you must be thrilled with the success of When Love Takes Over?

I’m beyond thrilled the song is going down as well as this. It’s quite likely it’ll be my biggest hit to date. Working with Kelly was a real pleasure too – she has an amazing voice and with this track it was all about taking her into a completely different direction musically. She’s always stuck to her R+B and lived somewhat in the shadow of Beyonce but she’s a great singer herself and I think she’s bigger than Beyonce, personally.

Will you ever grow tired of DJing and all the super late nights?

No, I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of the late nights at all. I’ll still be doing this when I’m 80. Inside I actually feel like a teenager still and I’m still developing all the time. The future for me is going to be incredibly exciting.

You’ve worked with some amazing names on your latest album – tell me about it.

It’s been amazing to collaborate with such good names on this album. I’m just flying back to London to finish a track with Ne-Yo and I’ve also collaborated with Akon on a track called Sexy Bitch and Estelle’s laid down a track too.

Is there anybody else you’d like to work with in the future?

There’s only one person I’d really love to work with and that’s Madonna. I grew up when she started playing her tracks like Everybody in clubs and I still think she’s a real star of the music scene. She’s always pushing herself and dance music is where she needs to stay. Her last album wasn’t my favourite but she’s still the one person I’d love the pleasure of working with.

*Thandie Newton made me chortle at the Martini bash this week. Posing up for a picture with a pretty blonde she smelt her armpits and said: “Phwoar! Oh my God, you’ll have to forgive my sweaty armpits. There better not be any patches appearing. Yuck!” Too much info, stinky!

*New eaterie Union Square is becoming the celeb hang out down at The O2 – Beyonce held her aftershow party there on Monday night and Princess Beatrice and Kimberly Walsh were also spotted!

*Tamsin Egerton and Tallulah Riley ruled the roost at the the launch of the fabulous new fashion mag Rococo at Il Bottaccio in London last week. Meanwhile I hear Prince Harry’s pal Guy Pelly is throwing a monstrous summer party at his hip joint Tini later this month! Party goers will spend the latter part of the evening at Raffles nightclub on the King’s Road.

*Any talk of Dannii Minogue becoming engaged to boyfriend Kris Smith is far too early. My impeccable source reveals: “Yes, they are happy – but it’s way too early for wedding talk.” Damn, there I was with the perfect hat!

*New singer Lenka is really floating my boat with her new track The Show and it’s not just me who thinks she rocks – the track is Radio One A Listed! Random fact: Lenka used to be an actress and had acting lessons from Cate Blanchett! I’m also loving Pixie Lotts (who’s at No.1 with her song Mama Do) and her album entitled Turn It Up drops Sept 7. Such a long wait – but it’ll be worth it!

*I hear Prince Harry’s fling with TV gal Caroline Flack is continuing apace. But I’m not so sure Harry’s that into her. My mole reveals: “Harry’s wanting to make Chelsy Davy jealous now that she’s seeing her new hunk Dan Philipson – him and Caroline are just fooling around for now.”
