*Becoming Nancy is a fantastic new novel from Terry Ronald – who wrote my buddy Dannii Minogue’s autobiography, My Story. A touching and brave story about a gay teenager growing up and experiencing all that life has to throw at him. It’s full of hilarious tales, wild antics and touching moments. It’s out this week and a great summer read!

*If you’re still mourning the loss of Busted then fear not as there’s a new pop-punk trio in the shape of swoopy-fringed teenagers Twenty Twenty. Brothers Sam and Jack Halliday and Sonny Watson-Lang, who release their debut single Love To Live on April 17, have already been getting chummy with label mates The Saturdays who they recently supported on tour. “They’re just as up for partying as we are so we had a great time,” said bassist Jack.

*Strictly’s Brian Fortuna is pulling a Derek Hough and making plans to try and get into the music industry off the back of the dancing show. Brian told me at the Embassy club this week: “I’ve been having singing lessons for the past five months. I want to be in  the West End rather than a pop star – a Role in Jersey Boys would be ideal.”

*Congratulations to Angelica Bell and Michael Underwood on their recent wedding. The pair threw a dazzling bash at the Mayfair Hotel last night to celebrate their nuptials and guests included Konnie Huq, Sarah Cawood, Alan Carr and Jenni Falconer. I hope a fun night was had by all – congrats, Team Underwood!

*New male trio Encore are building up quite a celebrity fan base. As well as hanging out every night in the bar with Jessie J on her UK tour, the guys are busy writing songs and performing with both Tinie Tempah and Chipmunk. And Tulisa from N-Dubz overheard them rehearsing in a studio this week and popped in asking if she could watch. They ended up performing two acoustic tracks for her and are now talking about a collaboration with her for their album. I checked them out this week and they’re great – Theo Walcott said so too!

Clare Maguire has just finished the video shoot for her next single Shield and Sword. I met Clare for lunch this week at the Thomas Cubitt pub in Chelsea for a goss about what the future holds for her – and it seems like we’re all going top be hearing a lot more from her in the near future. “I’m doing lots of the festivals including Glastonbury and Bestival,” she told me. “Which will be a real experience for me. I just want to get my music out to as many people as possible.
“Some people have said my album Light After Dark is primarily for the Radio 2 audience – but I think it’s going to work for many people actually. It’s a young sound and a pop album at heart.”
I’ve had a sneaky peak at the new video for Shield and Sword and Clare’s surrounded by scantily clad dancers, wears a vast array of wigs and looks hot as can be. Check out Clare’s album now….

TV star Katie Price has admitted her marriage to cross dressing cagefighter Alex Reid was “over before it even begun” and says she was on the rebound from first husband Peter Andre when they wed.
The star also admits she hasn’t felt chemistry like with current beau, Argentinian model Leandro Penna, since Peter.
In scenes to be shown on her Sky Living HD reality show this Wednesday at 9pm Katie, 32, reveals: “Me and Alex were over really before it even begun. As sad as it is, it didn’t last very long. And yeah, I probably was on the rebound when I split with Pete, but it is what it is. What happened has happened. And then, what happens, I go to a party, and I happen to meet a gorgeous guy that can’t even speak English.”
And with a comment that is sure to anger Reid, 34, the former glamour girl added: “The chemistry is definitely strong, the only time I’ve experienced that is when I met Pete. I never thought I’d experience something like that again. I’ve met the frog, let’s see if he turns into a Prince.”
In this week’s show the star also describes the moment she spotted Leandro across a crowded room at Sir Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscars party.
The star hit the headlines and caused controversy with her outrageous drunken behaviour at the A-List bash in Hollywood on February 27. She even tweeted the following morning saying she’d met a new hunk and taken him home with her.
Mum-of-three Katie explains: “All I remember is when me and Gary (Cockerill, her make-up artist and best friend) walked in the Oscars, I was just looking around and this guy who just walked past us and me and Gary just went “Oh my god how gorgeous is he, oh my god.” I mean he just stood out because he’s 6”1/6”2 but me being me, I’m an old, mum of three, I never thought in my wildest dreams, do you know what I mean? When I split with Alex, I wanted to be single, didn’t want a man. I’ve had enough of men in my life.”

Well at least the record has finally been set straight….eh!

I’ve been waiting for this news for quite some time now. And finally it’s happening. I’m told by an impeccable source that X Factor judge Louis Walsh is secretly beavering away on his first autobiography. In the book, yet to bag a publisher, Louis will talk no holds barred about life on the ITV1 show, what he really thinks of all the contestants and judges and no doubt unearth a few showbiz skeletons too. My source tells me: “Louis has finally decided to work on the book after being pursued by publishers for years.
“He’s known for being the person to put the cat among the pigeons in whatever he does. And this book will be no different. It’s going to expose lots of showbiz secrets and will be THE read of next year.” Now this is a book I can’t wait for…..

One of these men is 77 years old. But which one?

I’m obsessed with Karl Lagerfeld. So old, still so uber fashionable and so mysterious. And there were loads of him! LOOK! But it wasn’t just lookalikes….the stars were out in force yesterday evening at he unveiled his hottest collection yet – for Diet Coke.

Red headed model Lily Cole posed up with Karl at Le Georges at The Pompidiou Centre in Paris. The opulent venue was transformed into a sparkling wonderland, inspired by Diet Coke. Joining Karl were celebrities including Lou Doullion, sipping from the stunning range of aluminum bottles. The party also unveiled the exclusive new outdoor ad shot by Karl for the brand, featuring Coca Rocha, Heidi Mount and Jeneil Williams.

Sadie Frost is on good form right now. We had a natter at a celebrity packed Hepatitis C fundraiser event and she told me she’s just enjoyed a truly relaxing holiday in Kerala in India with her kids. “India’s heavenly and I honestly was possibly the most relaxed I’ve ever been,” she told me. “I tweeted saying I have never been so in love and everyone thought I was talking about a man. I wasn’t at all. I’m single right now.
“I’m in a really happy place actually. I’m nearly three years sober now, I’m fit and healthy and my children are great. I think I’ve learnt to be happy in my own skin actually.”
The actress, who’s releasing her autobiography Crazy Days in paperback soon, also says she’s going for meetings in LA next week. “I’ve got a few exciting meetings,” she smiled. “But we’ll have to wait and see how they go.” Good luck.

Thanks to Lisa Moorish and Boy George (above performing with Adam Ant) the evening raised an incredible £10,000 for the Hepatitis C Trust and their Get Tested campaign. Boy George took various photographs of celebrities dressed up as eighties icons with staggering results. Sadie Frost was transformed into Madonna, Lisa Moorish was Grace Jones, celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine was Siouxie Sioux and Paloma Faith was Boy George himself….

On the night the signed pictures were auctioned off – with Mat Horne even agreeing to fix one of the framed prints to the wall of a bidder’s house in nothing but his undies. Get him. Lisa and George are trying to raise the profile of Hepatitis C and the importance of getting tested for the disease. It’s thought thousands could have it without even knowing. Actress Keira Knightley has bagged herself a new boyfriend – and this time he’s a rocker from The Klaxons.
I can reveal for the past four weeks the Pirates of the Caribbean star has been quietly seeing the bands keyboard player and co-vocalist James Righton after being introduced by their mutual friend Alexa Chung.
And I’m told Keira, 26, is hoping this union with James, 27, will work out in the long run.
A pal of Keira’s reveals: “She’s extremely happy right now and really enjoying spending time with James. He’s a real rocker and a lovely guy with it and she likes that whole scene – lately she’s become far more rock and roll and has been hanging out with a  really trendy crowd.
“Alexa set them up on a date as both of them were single and they hit it off straight away. Alexa’s taking all the credit for them getting on so well – she’s like Cilla Black when it comes to hooking up her friends.
“Keira’s really smitten with James but wants to just quietly get on with it and see what happens. But she’s falling for him quickly. They are a perfect match and she’s extremely happy.”
The pair definitely looked happy as can be when I clapped eyes on them trotting along Soho’s Broadwick Street towards Carnaby Street on Thursday. Keira was in her trademark beenie hat and the pair looked quite the happy couple.
But from what my source says she’s keen to keep things on the down low to give things a chance to solidify to something more long term – especially after her high profile relationship with Rupert Friend ended in January.
“Now that she’s stopped doing all the big Hollywood films for the meantime and she’s in a play on the West End she’s found she has so much more freedom,” my source adds. “She’s been going out lots, hanging around with a whole new group of friends and enjoying life far more.”
Well good for her – and congrats on the new man. He’s quite a catch….

Mark Ronson was the big name guest at Ronnie Joice’s incredible HELP Japan event with the British Red Cross this week. Ronnie threw the glittering event together following the horrific earthquake and tsunami in Japan and managed to get a number of big name stars to turn up and lend a hand too at the Hoxton Pony event. Top of the bill was Mark Ronson – who matched every penny made in a personal donation from his own pocket.

Caroline Flack (above) doesn’t sound like she’s in the running for the job replacing Konnie Huq on Xtra Factor – she’s off to the jungle instead. She told me at Ronnie Joice’s Help Japan fundraiser at The Hoxton Pony: “I know about as much as you do right now. But I’ve been offered the jungle again and obviously it clashes with The Xtra Factor. I can sign my contract whenever I like luckily but why would I give it up? I think I’d be really stupid to give up such a great job. I’ve been allowed to make it my own and there’s not many jobs out there like that for women. Plus it’s so much fun as you get to spend two months in Australia and I love working with Joe.” I hear Stephen Mulhern was a front runner for the position just a few weeks ago….

Calvin Harris (above) clearly wasn’t in the mood to ‘go there’ about his twitter row with Katy Perry this week. When Calvin pulled out last minute of a supporting slot on her tour the American star was enraged and took to twitter to burn his name for walking. But it sounds like there’s more to it. Calvin fumed at the Hoxton Pony: “But I shouldn’t have been the one apologising. I’m too nice for my own good, I’m too nice” Changing the subject matter bizarrely the 6ft 5ins star informed me: “Do you know taller people die earlier? And Scottish people. And men. I’m 27 so I’ve probably got about three more years.” Weirdo.

New pop star Yasmin was laughing at being linked to Hurts frontman Theo Hutchcraft. I can think of worse people to be linked too! “Apparently I’ve got a new boyfriend now – Theo from The Hurts,” she giggled. “I’ve only met him once! It’s so funny but my grandad reads the newspapers and I really don’t want him reading about my love life! I’m going to go and talk to Calvin Harris now as I love him. We have a lot in common too as we are both Scottish. I’ll be linked to him next. (Tongue in cheek) We can go on a date to Loch Lomond and drink Irn Bru. Then as wedding gifts we can have our faces put on shortbread tins.” Over to you, Calvin….
