*EastEnders star Rita Simons is pretty much my favourite soapstar to bump into of an evening. She’s loud, fun and outspoken. And she didn’t disappoint when I saw her ahead of this week’s NTAs. She laughed: “You need to watch out for me later, Dean. One of the last times I went out I got twatted and snogged a gay script writer from the show and went wild. I had to wake up to the papers writing about it – as well as having to apologise to my husband.”
And Rita has a hilarious approach to her outfit on the evening – where she had her boobs on full display for everyone. “I’ve got great tits so why not,” she laughed. “But it’s so cold they look like goose skin so I’ve probably ruined my appearance on the red carpet already.” I. Love. Rita.

*Fearne Cotton is hard at work preparing to run a half marathon in March with her bezzie Kye Sones of new band Diagram of the Heart. After a 10 mile run last weekend the star was still feeling the effects at this week’s NTAs. She said: “It’s tough – really tough in fact. We pushed ourselves this week but are going to stick to an eight mile run this week – I’ve set myself the challenge of doing the run and it’s a huge challenge for me. We’ll get there in the end – but whether we do a full marathon is another thing entirely.”
I congratulated the star on her bikini body too after pictures surfaced of her on holiday with her fiance Jesse Jenkins recently But she was far from impressed by being papped sans bikini for the first time. “I was literally mortified by those snaps,” she said. “It has never happened to me before and I hated looking at them. So unflattering and so gross.” I thought she looked fab.
Anyway, there’s no sign of a wedding in the near future between her and Jesse she added: “I’ve had no time to plan any of my wedding. Not yet. I don’t know what we’ll be doing for Valentine’s Day – let alone a wedding. We’re not that romantic so we’ll probably go to the cinema or something boring like that.”

*Former Legally Blonde star Sheridan Smith is thrilled to be joining Sienna Miller in new Trevor Nunn play Flare Path from March on the West End. She told me at the NTAs: “I’m going to be joining Sienna Miller in the Trevor Nunn Play Flare Path. I was always going to take a break after Legally Blonde finished but I’m a complete workaholic and it was too good an opportunity to miss.
“I’ve never met Sienna but I can’t wait and we go into rehearsals on Monday. Maybe we’ll become friends and can head out shopping although I’ll need to raise my game as I’ll be turning up to rehersals in trackie bottoms. I am single at the minute and have been for ages now. I couldn’t even go out on dates the whole time I was doing Legally Blonde because I would only get Sundays’ off. Maybe Sienna can set me up with someone. But I’m pretty career focused and I always have the fear that I’ll get found out soon as I’ve never actually trained to be an actor. I have a real fear of getting found out.”
Flare Path by Terrance Rattigan is to be revived at the Theatre Royal Haymarket between March 10 and June 4 2011 and the two ladies will appear alongside Rome actor James Purefoy in the new adaptation. It first ran in the West End in 1942! Good luck to all involved.

More than 80 iconic landmarks across 13 countries joined (RED)™ to promote awareness of the ongoing fight against the AIDS pandemic, by turning red to mark World AIDS Day on Wednesday.  UK landmarks including The London Eye, BT Tower, Trafalgar Square fountains, Manchester Town Hall and The Glasgow Science Museum were lit red, to highlight the attainable goal of ending mother-to-child transmission of HIV by 2015, creating the first generation of babies born HIV-free in 30 years.

Stunning actress Sienna Miller turned the lights on at The London Eye. And she even wore red lipstick for the occasion. Fab.

Radio One DJ Edith Bowman always say it how it is. And I love that. Speaking about X Factor at the H+M Home launch this week she told me: “I don’t care about the contestants when they come out of the show but while they are on it I’m obsessed. I love Cher but I’d like to see less make-up on her.
“Dannii is totally winning the stylestakesd for me. Her style is fresh and effortless. I love Cheryl but she seems to be trying too hard and doesn’t need all of that new hair.”

Sienna’s sister Savannah Miller (below) has odd style tips for winter. Speaking at the H+M bash she said: “Pile on the pounds. It’s winter.”

Oh and Sophie Ellis Bextor is finally on the road to making a musical comeback with an up and coming tour and a new album to follow. She told me at the H+M Home bash: “I have got a 20-month-old baby so that is enough for me right now and I would love more at some point. My favourite part is when they are babies and I wouldn’t want to rush that. I have my first solo tour in seven years coming up and I am trying to prepare myself for leaving the kids at home and not seeing them every day. It’s going to be hard. I will then have a new record out in the spring. It’s going to sound very dancey and I am working with people like Armin van Buuren on it.” Can’t wait!

*Demi Moore is still such a hot looking woman in real life. I caught up with the Ghost star and her hubby Ashton Kutcher at the Hollywood Domino Gala. She told me she’s loving Awards Season. “It’s such an exciting week,” she admitted. “It’s kinda crazy though. You have to pace yourself with all the parties.”
Ashton told me he’s been working flat out and revealed: “It’s been full on lately. I’ve not stopped working so I’m tired to begin with. I’ve just been in London too – it’s great over there. I love the way the British are. So proper.”
There were two brilliant moments of hanging with the pair. Firstly Demi bought the round of drinks. Ashton loves a vodka tonic and Demi drinks pints – but she tripped on her dress and spilt beer down herself! Secondly, when you do a snap with Demi she always has to check she looks good in the picture before she walks away. Amazing!

*So it turns out Cheryl Cole’s ‘pal’ Derek Hough from dancing With The Stars has been more than just hanging out with Chezza – she’s been giving him advice on the industry. My mole reveals: “Derek’s desperate to carve himself into a male solo pop artist. He can sing and dance so he wants to pursue that” Cheryl’s given him lots of advice.” I bet she has!

*Rachel Zoe (above) is the stylist everybody in Hollywood scrambles to work with at the Oscars. But the skinny lady herself is particular about who she dresses up. She told me at the Hollywood Domino Gala: “I’m working with Demi Moore and Cameron Diaz this year. They are the ladies I truly love to dress.” Other guests at the amazing Hollywood Bingo Gala event included Jamie Foxx, Matt Dillon, Lady Victoria Hervey, Eva Longoria and Nicky Hilton.

*A real highlight was meeting Queen of Pop Madonna as I trotted into LA’s newest exclusive private members club Soho House this week. I obviously told her she “raised me” (sorry mum) and she graciously shook my hand! Amazing.

*Dermot O’Leary sounds as if he’s ready and set to give the US a go as a presenter. I caught up with the X Factor host and he told me: “I’ve been out here looking at work options and having a few meetings. Nothing’s come up yet that would mean moving out here. But I’d love to work Stateside.”
Dermot also told me he’s hoping X Factor judge Dannii Minogue manages to come back to the show after she’s popped out her sprog in July. He said: “She’s one of the reasons the show’s so good so hopefully she’ll be able to be there after she’s had her little one.”

*Ryan Seacrest is preparing to cover the red carpet arrivals for the E! Entertainment Channel later this evening with co-host Giuliana Rancic (both above with me). But he couldn’t help but talk about Simon Cowell and his exit from American Idol after this series to start X Factor in the US. Ryan said: “American Idol will survive without Simon but we will miss him. He’s is the foundation to the show. I will personally miss sparring with him but I have seen the X Factor and I think it’s a phenomenal show.”
And he wouldn’t mind swapping over to the rival show as host – if the money was right. “I could always be tempted over depending on the money,” he laughed. “I would like to do them both, that would be great.”

*Myleene Klass was having a blast hosting the Oscars coverage for CNN in Los Angeles. But it seems Americans have a bizarre take on who Myleene’s a doppelganger of. Over dinner at the Mondrian she told me: “When I got to the airport a pap thought I was Minnie Driver’s sister and then yesterday I signed an autograph and he person looked surprised at my signature because she thought I was Jessica Alba.” One day they’ll know Leenie in the US! Ha!
The presenter also told me her two-year-old daughter has been hanging with rock and roll royalty Bon Jovi too. She revealed: “Ava had her picture with Jon Bon Jovi at our hotel. He fell in love with her – and we spotted him working out in the gym. I might have enjoyed that for a different reason to Ava though!” I hear you!

*Kendra Wilkinson doesn’t want her child growing up in the public eye. The former Girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, whose reality show Kendra is on the E! Entertainment Channel, says she doesn’t want her newborn son Hank growing up in front of the cameras. She told me: “I don’t want Hank growing up in the limelight. People already ask if I think he’s going to be a sports star like my husband or an actor or something. I want him to decide what he wants to be. That’s his choice. The reality show will stop – I don’t want him growing up for everyone to see.” Sensible girl.

WHICH star is getting a reputation for sleeping around? I hear this dude doesn’t mind if it’s a boy or a girl – but he needs them regular! Greedy!

*Lee Toland Krieger is the Writer/Director to watch out for in the future. After being nominated for Best Director and Best Screenplay at the Independent Spirit Awards for his brilliant film The Viscious Kind he’s about to start work on new thriller Land of the Free. Elijah Wood, Rachel Bilson and Sienna Miller are all wanted for roles….

*It’s not easy when you’re Oprah Winfrey and you fancy a bite to eat. You can’t just pop to your local restaurant in a low-key way. I saw the chat show host dining at the Beverly Hills Hotel with TV execs this week. While Oprah – wearing a black dress and black alice band – enjoyed a salad four bodyguards sat surrounding her table. She did seem down to earth as she left though and posed for snaps with fans. Nice!

*Jimmy Choo boss Tamara Mellon is making a concerted effort to be a little bit healthier. After years of puffing on fags Tam has decided to quit the ciggies – but she’s finding it tough to deal with her cravings and chewing gum non stop!

*Wherever I went this week for a bite to eat I seemed to bump into a celebrity. Nicky Hilton – who is immaculately dressed in her day-to-day life – sat next to me one day at the Fred Segal café while Geri Halliwell’s former movie producer lover Sacha Gervasi (and the father of Geri’s baby Bluebell) brought along an extremely attractive girl to eat on the other side of me. Then I was alongside Groundhog Day star Bill Murray at Cecconis the day before.

*Abbie Cornish appears to have started the heartbreak diet following her split from actor Ryan Phillipe. I spotted the star at a bash for Vanity Fair  and Dior looking disturbingly thin with her newly bleach blonde hair. Other guests mingling around at the bash included Dawsons Creek star James Van Der Beek and Brit TV host Louise Roe.

*Kelly Osbourne looked slick as hell at the Hudson Jeans and Vanity fair bash this week. Kel’s gone for a somewhat bizarre purple rinse on her former bleach blonde locks. The Osbourne offspring mingled the night away with June Sarpong and Rose McGowan.

*Leona Lewis was gearing up to attend Elton John’s wonderful Aids Foundation Oscar Viewing Party when I bumped into her last week. She told me she’s got a crush on Twilight star Taylor Lautner – in fact he’s the only person to have ever made her starstruck. She revealed: “I think Taylor from Twilight is the only person to have truly made me starstruck. It was at the Globes and I got a picture with him. I never ever get a picture with anyone. I never ask for one. He’s the only person I’ve ever asked for a picture with. My boyfriend Lou loved that one. He said: ‘Erm, what are you doing?’ Ha ha. I’m allowed to meet him though. I’d love to meet Stevie Wonder and Madonna. I’ve not met either. Madonna is another person who really inspires me.”

*Simon Cowell told me at the fabulous Topshop party that he’s rooting for the boys this year on X Factor. He revealed: “It’s all about the boys. They are strong this year and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be another year where the girls take the crown at the end of the series. I must admit I wouldn’t want to be looking after the groups. In my opinion it’s not a strong year for them.”
Simon also spoke about Leona Lewis’s huge second album Echo that gets released on November 16. The X Factor boos says he’s impressed with her new music and her new sexy image. “Leona’s really found herself and she’s come back with music and an attitude that’s so much more self assured,” Simon said. “She’s got more to say and she’s truly happy with everything right now. And you can tell that when you speak to her.” Indeed you can, Si!

*I rubbed up against Kate Moss at the front of an A-List crowd including Vivienne Westwood, Natalia Vodianova, Vogue Editor Anna Wintour and Sir Phillip Green as Bryan Ferry performed an amazing set at the Topshop bash at The Ivy Club in Covent Garden. Despite reports to the contrary Kate actually looked fab up close. Word at the fashion bash was that Kate had spent a week at a yoga retreat in Thailand prior to her appearance at London Fashion Week. The healthy living clearly paid off!

*Naomi Campbell may look like she’s effortlessly made up but it was a whole different situation when she got into the loo at the Topshop bash. My spy in the bathroom revealed: ” Naomi had this huge make-up kit that she lay out across the sink and she spent a good ten minutes touching up before she’d head outside into th paparazzi throng to leave.” Clever girl!

*Sienna Miller must have been in jet lag hell when she flew in for her critically acclaimed Twenty8Twelve show. The blonde – currently appearing on Broadway in After Miss Julie – flew in on the day for her show at London Fashion Week. The starlet managed to squeeze in an intimate dinner with her boyfriend George Barker before jetting straight back to New York that same very evening.

*Lady Victoria Hervey has started a new business venture. Ooooh, sounds like Sienna Miller’s not quite as single as she’s been making out. I spied her snogging the face off of a tall guy at the Oasis iTunes gig this week. Said gentleman was roughly 6ft 2ins, average looking and wearing a polo shirt! I wonder who it is!
The GI Joe star has been on a whirlwind tour of the world and has been making me laugh all week with her quotes.

In an interview this week she professed her love of Liam Gallagher and described Liam as “her everything” growing up. She went on: “I have met him before but neglected to mention the fact I was obsessed with him.”

She also spoke this week about her outburst on Aussie radio when she flipped at a DJ for asking a question about her ex Balthazar Getty. She giggled: “I know it wasn’t the way to deal with a question – but I was angry. The producer of the radio show patted me on the back after and said: “There, there, Care Bear.” It’s enough to make me want to be Australian.” Indeed!

A pal reveals: “Sienna loved being with Balthazar  but there was too much baggage and she couldn’t commit to anything more than a few months. They are still good friends.”

The pair began dating after they were introduced by Sienna’s Edge of Love co-star (and former beau) Matthew Rhys last May while Balthazar was nursing a new baby with then- wife Rosetta.

Sienna’s aides will be thrilled by the break with Balthazar. The relationship led to her being branded a home-wrecker and is rumoured to have put an end to her role as Maid Marian in the new Robin Hood movie. The source adds: “She has a real chance of hitting the big time again.”

But it’s not as if she needs that much help. The talented blonde is preparing for the release of GI Joe where she’s a leather-clad villain. Sienna tells me: “It’s going to be big for me. Then I’m off to Broadway, treading the boards.”

Sienna Miller has been laying exceedingly low of late thanks to her bedroom Olympics with married man Balthazar Getty. The American media and public have been up in arms since news of the fling went public. Well just so you all know, I hear the pair actually got together six whole months after he’d split from wife Rosetta. In which case…..home wrecker she ain’t peeps!

Fair enough the silly billy shouldn’t have got together with him so publicly – especially not flouncing around with him on the beach with her titties out. But I think Sienna deserves a break now.

Anyway, Sienna has reason to smile. I hear she’s landed herself a rather lucrative little deal with Hugo Boss to be the face of their new fragrance for women. Apparently she’s already shot the advert for the campaign in Los Angeles. Get her.

Sienna Miller shines in her latest film Edge of Love. I saw it last week and have got my hands on some great quotes from the lady herself from her promotional tour. I’m starting to like her a lot…..

On her body: “I’ve just wrapped on GI Joe but I’ve lost all my muscles already – they’ve all gone! All the fight scenes were a couple of months ago and since then I haven’t kept up the exercise regime at all, just so much going on, and I’m not a gym person, I hate it!”

On filming ‘Edge of Love’: “We all got on really well, it was like the coolest family, we lived in a country house together in Wales and it was such a laugh, running around in our pjama’s – the boys would cook breakfast, we did dinner parties and just bonded so much and I adore them all. It was spring time, and Wales is the most beautiful place – my dogs were so happy there. I would love to buy a house there one day, I can’t afford it yet – but the Welsh are just such lovely people, so open, so full of….ummm yeah. I love the accent – have you spoken to Matthew – his accent is the best!!”

On bosom buddy Kiera Knightley: “She is such a movie star – she’s ravishing – it takes a brave women to share a screen with her – she’s a goddess is every way. I adore her – there’s no rivalry and I think if it’s Kiera Knightley you just have to bite the bullet and go for it and there’s no amount of make up that will make you look any better!”

On her personal life: “It’s nice to be talking about this film because I am so proud of it – but the other stuff is very hard to deal with – it sort of over shadows it a bit because I have to talk about it. But I’ve just got back from Prague so I haven’t seen or read about anything – so for me it’s all about this movie and nothing else.”

On the future and Robin Hood: “I’m passed my driving test a few months ago and I’m loving driving! I haven’t done much because I was in Prague – but before that in LA it was so cool going on road trips, I got lent a gorgeous Audi it was brilliant fun! And I’m back in London for the rest of the summer – gonna get another car – and I’m doing a movie with Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott about Robin Hood – I’m Maid Marion to Russell’s Robin Hood – well sort of he plays Nottingham – so there’s no green tights…gutted! I’d love to see him in green tights – can you imagine!!!”
