Scarlett Johansson may have looked absolutely stunning at a launch party for Frank Miller’s hotly anticipated film The Spirit last week but the star was far from friendly on the red carpet.

She was all smiles as she trotted into the bash but ignored pretty much all the press line up apart from the TV crews. She actually put her hand up in a “get the hell away from me” kinda way as I tried to talk to her on the carpet. Not nice at all.

Fortunately Samuel L. Jackson did stop and talk about Scarlett (pictured above with Mr Miller). I asked him what it was like working with two of the sexiest women in Hollywood. He replied: “Well put it this way, neither of them look all that at 6am when they arrive on set.” Ouch!

Eva Mendes – who’s looks pretty fabulous in the new adverts for Calvin Klein right now – did stop to say hello and seemed utterly charming – although her ‘people’ didn’t let her pose up for pictures with the likes of moi. Boo hoo.

Let’s hope the film’s better than the attitude of Missy Johansson!
