Congratulations to The Wanted who are celebrating crashing to Number 5 in the US Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Their careers are being guided by Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and Glad You Came has been a huge success story.
Since a coveted spot on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the boys are officially the biggest boyband success story in the US since the Beatles! “You can only hope that we become as big as the Beatles,” Tom from the band told me. “If we could be like them and become an A-grade artist in America like Adele has recently done, that would be amazing because she’s never off of the radio.
“The goal is for us to be a global act and now more than ever it seems possible for it to happen and that really excites us. As much as we party every night we are also working our a***s off to make it happen.”
The lads have just been booked to appear on US chat show Jay Leno soon. This is big news. Huge.

The Wanted are proud to be flying the flag in the US, spearheading a British invasion of the US charts. Artists such as Jessie J, Coldplay and Adele have allmade their mark and now the boys are proving they have what it takes on the global stage.
ʻGlad You Cameʼ currently has a total radio audience of more than 50 million, being played on over 160 pop stations. They are the first boy band to hit the top 10 on the US Airplay chart since the Backstreet Boys.
The incredible story in the US is only getting bigger, with the confirmation this week of a live performance on the Jay Leno show in March. This is the latest in a line of incredibly high profile TV appearances including The Ellen Show and Chelsea Lately. The band have also been confirmed for MTVʼs Spring Break Las Vegas as they continue their assault on the United States!
The Wanted have recently finished their debut sold out US tour and are currently on their sold out UK arena tour which took place in Londonʼs O2 Arena this Saturday (3rd March).
