I was thrilled to see Kylie Minogue’s Aphrodite Les Foiles tour this week at the O2. Beyond fabulous staging and set design, a corking voice and Dolce and Gabbana really excelled with their stage outfits. But I have good news for everyone who didn’t manage to catch the show – it’s coming to Sky in 3D on June 19th.
Premiering on the Sky 3D (as well as Sky1 HD) channel the show will be perfect opportunity to show off this incredible show – especially with all those water fountains. Kyles tells me: “I’m so proud of this tour, everyone has pulled out the stops to give my fans a truly unique concert experience. So I’m excited we have been able to use the power of 3D TV to give audiences at home the chance to get a front row experience.” I cannot ruddy wait for this one.
And talking of Kylie…..a couple of weeks ago I popped along to see The Hurly Burly Show and Miss Minogue was in the audience. Dressed immaculately, obviously. I’ve always loved a burlesque show. And London’s lucky enough to have Miss Polly Rae live on stage at the Garrick Theatre every night in The Hurly Burly Show. She was a sensation in the lead role and so super cool on stage with such a grand production. With the show being produced and designed by Kylie’s bezzie William Baker it’s a feast for your eyes! Catch the show before it ends on May 1.
