Iconic Blondie star Debbie Harry tells me she still feels the pressure to produce good music despite so many years in the business. This week I joined Debbie at The Ivy Club to hear tracks from the band’s new album Panic Of Girls (out May 30). She told me: “We still want to put good music out – will an original Blondie sound. This is the best album we’ve put out for a long time and I’m happy with the results. Blondie are far from starting to put the brakes on, trust me.” I wouldn’t doubt you, Debs.
Blondie’s latest album “Panic of Girls’ is available to buy as part of the limited edition Future Fanpack and download on May 30 – for further details and Summer 2011 tour dates visit: www.blondie.net
