Shayne Ward, Jameela Jamil and Henry Conway step out for the Myla 10th Anniversary bash

Shayne Ward (above with me) was in a chirpy mood this week promoting his album Obsession at the fabulously chic Myla 10th Anniversary bash at Mayfair’s swanky Almada venue. His album narrowly missed reaching this week’s Top Ten album chart but he was happy with the first week chart position. He told me: “I’ve worked hard on this album and the single did well so I’m confident things are now back on the up. It’s exciting to finally have this album out and for the fans to get what they patiently waited all those years for.” Indeed.

Meanwhile the party, sponsored by Tanqueray No. Ten sponsored bash, highlight was seeing style Queen Jameela Jamil play a DJ set. The star was getting ready for today’s T4 Stars of 2010 gig at Earls Court where the likes of JLS, Olly Murs and The Saturdays are set to perform. She told me she’s been one busy girl. “I’m so hectic right now and gearing up for the Stars of 2010 – I’ve hardly had time to eat this week,” she laughed. “I’m literally going from meeting to meeting and surviving on a huge packet of Kettle Chips a day.” I promptly dived into her bag. Yum.

Other guests included Henry Conway (above), Simon Webbe, Immodesty Blaize, Caprice and Olivia Inge.
