The Wolseley attracts the stars for lunch – and I was there….

Just back from lunch at Piccadilly restaurant The Wolseley. It was celeb central this lunchtime. Martine McCutcheon looked fabulous as she took tea with a male friend. She’s looking better now those hair extensions are out and she’s sporting a bob.

Directly behind me I had Sir David Frost and on the next table actor Jude Law who lunched with international ballerina Carlos Acosta and his manager. I never realised the pair were pals but it makes sense considering I’ve spotted Jude on more than one occasion popping into the Royal Opera House with his kids in tow.

Another star there was one of my favourite new actor’s Michael Fassbender – who recently starred in the award winning Hunger – he was there with a man and a gal pal who sported incredibly over inflated lips (or one of the best natural pouts I’ve ever seen).

It’s definitely the place to spot a star over lunch. Last time I was there Guy Ritchie, Robert Downey Jnr and Lucien Freud were in the house.
