Last night was an exciting and swanky event. I headed over to Knightsbridge on the Brompton Road for the opening of the new Paul Edmonds hair salon. The great man was there himself and a few of his celebrity pals and clients popped by.
Casualty’s Georgina Bouzova was there dressed down in a nice hoodie and sporting a new fringe. She told me: “I’ve just got my fringe and it feels terribly new right now. I’m not used to it and keep throwing it back. I need to get used to the fact I need to leave it alone.” It was uber Kate Moss, that’s all I’m saying.
There was also a rare appearance by stunning model Sophie Anderton. Now we all know it’s been a bit of a nightmare for Soph of late (what with her call girl drug shame) but she was looking more radiant than ever before and breezed in before rushing off to a business meeting. She tells me her latest business venture is going to be a huge success. “I’m getting the financial backing for my new lingerie range,” she gushed. “It’s looking very good right now and will be a very high end product. I’ve been designing for it for years but now I’m clean and in a good place I’ve moved forwards with the idea and I’ve had tones of meetings to get it off of the ground.”
Good luck to her.
Also at the bash was Vogue TV’s Louise Roe and the delectable Marissa Montgomery of lingerie brand Pussy Glamore. We love those girls.
Paul’s salon will no doubt be a raving success – after all his clients and friends do includethe wonderful actresses Emma Thompson and Thandie Newton.
